Job summary

GreatAmerica is seeking a Director of Portfolio Management to lead the Portfolio Management function and set training, policy, and staffing standards. You will drive performance through data-informed decision making, mentoring leaders, and partnering with corporate operations to deliver strong customer outcomes.

The role requires building relationships with senior leaders, monitoring trends, and implementing proactive improvements across risk, delinquency, and collections practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of operations or portfolio management leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish portfolio management strategies balancing customer relationships, risk, delinquency, and financial performance.
• Define early-intervention approaches to payment barriers before delinquency.
• Allocate resources based on business needs, risk, and outcomes.
• Lead by example to reinforce culture and drive results across the function.
• Communicate updates and forecast results to senior leadership.
• Monitor risks, trends, and opportunities to improve processes and governance.
• Build team capability through coaching and development.
• Drive change adoption with accountability and measures.
• Oversee escalated portfolio calls and maintain control environments.
