Job summary

GreatAmerica Financial Services Corporation is seeking a Director of Portfolio Management to lead the Portfolio Management function. You will drive customer-focused, risk-aware performance, oversee training and policy, and set staffing levels while mentoring future leaders.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to steer strategy, monitor performance, and implement enhancements across processes and controls in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work and a strong rewards culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
• Minimum seven years in operations or Portfolio Management with leadership.
• Ability to present portfolio insights clearly to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Portfolio Management strategy balancing client relationships, risk, and financial performance.
• Define early-intervention approaches to payment barriers.
• Allocate resources based on risk, complexity, and outcomes.
• Set expectations and coach leadership across the function.
• Communicate updates and forecast results to leadership.
• Escalate portfolio risks and trends to appropriate leaders.
• Build metrics and staffing plans for short and long term.
• Foster a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement.
