Job summary

GreatAmerica is seeking a Portfolio Manager to handle outbound and inbound communications for delinquent lease payments and resolve related administrative delinquencies. You will investigate why customers fall behind and work across billing, taxation, insurance, maintenance, contract terms, and account history to secure payments.

In this role, you will join a cross-functional team reporting to the Portfolio Management Leader and contribute to a high-pressure, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Desire collection experience in financial services—leasing or equivalent.
• Ability to perform in a high-intensity, customer-focused environment.
• Proven written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to research, analyze and resolve problems.
• General math and computation skills (oral).
• People skills and ability to follow processes.
• Ability to effectively process high-volume incoming/outgoing calls.

Responsibilities

• Contact and collect accounts 10–60 days past due to arrange timely payments.
• Process phone calls, internal inquiries, meetings, and other requests simultaneously.
• Process research and correspondence related to customer disputes and collection inquiries.
• Work in a team-based, solution-oriented environment including billing, taxation, insurance, maintenance, contract terms, and account history.
• Determine why customers are delinquent and overcome obstacles to ensure payment.
• Manage approximately 36 accounts per day.
