Job summary

GreatAmerica Financial Services seeks a Credit Portfolio Manager to oversee underwriting, portfolio administration, and credit quality for an assigned portfolio. This role collaborates with Credit Leadership, Operations, and Business Development to identify and manage risks in line with policy and regulatory requirements.

You will monitor documentation, risk grades, and reporting, while supporting new originations, renewals, and covenant monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Five or more years of commercial credit analysis experience, preferably in banking.
• Extensive experience analyzing complex financial statements and tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites commercial credit requests and recommends loan structures based on financial condition and risks.
• Gathers and analyzes credit information on current and potential borrowers, including financial statement spreads.
• Prepares credit memorandums with risk assessments and mitigation factors.
