FranklinCovey is seeking a Director of Platform Engineering who will lead architecture strategy and drive AI integration across our enterprise platforms. You will collaborate with product strategy, ensure security and governance, and lead multiple teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

You will build and mentor senior engineers, establish performance standards, and coordinate with IT/SecOps on security and cloud infra.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, technology delivery or related experience.
• 5+ years leading managers and multi-team programs.

Responsabilités

• Set Architecture Direction: Own the cross-platform architecture strategy and define ownership and guardrails.
• Lead AI and Data Execution: Integrate AI into customer-facing platforms, design data architecture and governance.
• Develop Your Team: Manage engineering managers and ICs, coach careers, set goals, ensure quality.
• Raise the Engineering Bar: Enforce code standards, CI/CD, incident response, SLAs/SLOs, tooling.
• Deliver and Partner: Manage portfolio outcomes, estimate capacity, and communicate with executives.
