Job summary

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, MN is seeking a Director of Patient Access to lead admission, reception, and scheduling across our rural health system. The role emphasizes simplifying care, improving the patient experience, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will develop operational policies, train staff, and collaborate with providers and IT to optimize scheduling and EMR workflows. A minimum of 5–7 years in healthcare management and at least 3 years in director-level leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of healthcare management, preferably progressive leadership in patient access/admissions/revenue cycle.
• Minimum of 3 years of director-level experience overseeing multiple managers and staff in a healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient access teams to simplify care and strengthen the patient experience across the rural health system.
• Oversee daily operations of hospital and clinic admissions, reception, and scheduling.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance the patient check-in experience and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with providers, administrative staff, and IT to optimize scheduling and EMR use.
