Job summary

ezCater is the #1 food tech platform for workplaces in the US. Reporting to the COO, you will own strategic initiatives and the operating rhythm for the Operations org, turning ambiguity into execution and measurable impact.

You’ll build to scale across a growing marketplace and partner with leaders to shape how we operate. You’ll drive AI and automation adoption, design cross‑functional programs, and create playbooks for new functions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in operations strategy, business ops, or consulting with 3+ years leading teams at a fast-moving tech company.
• Built new functions, processes or teams that lasted without a playbook.
• Able to manage multiple complex projects and hold cross-functional teams accountable.
• Has a real point of view on AI and automation; stays current and weighs value vs hype.
• Works with data to define problems, measure results and challenge assumptions.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive decisions.
• Clear written and verbal communication; can distill complex issues for execs.
• Strikes a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
• Willingness to travel up to 5 days per quarter.

Responsibilities

• Drive high priority strategic initiatives for ops and cross-functional launches.
• Build a feedback engine from 200k+ monthly inbound contacts; translate to signals.
• Design and run biz ops rhythms: staff meetings, reviews, planning cycles.
• Map and redesign processes to remove waste and improve workflows.
• Lead change management and documentation standards across ops.
• Create new operational capabilities from scratch and hand off when ready.
• Serve as AI thought leader for Ops; assess tools and drive adoption.
