Job summary

ezCater is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the frontend vision for the Restaurant Partner Experience. You will own the architecture of partner discovery, onboarding, management, and growth tooling, including AI-enabled reporting within the partner portal.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and engineering leadership to set standards and scale our frontend systems for thousands of restaurant operators nationwide.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional development experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript in complex frontend systems.
• 4+ years of production React experience, with micro-frontend patterns such as Islands architecture or module federation.
• Proven track record standardizing frontend architecture, design systems, monorepo tooling, and scalable frontend boundaries.
• Experience building data-rich frontends (dashboards, reporting, data visualization) for non-technical users.
• Experience mentoring engineers and aligning with Product, Design, and stakeholders to drive tech roadmaps.
• Preferred: experience with B2B/partner-facing SaaS products; REST, GraphQL; Turborepo; Go backend familiarity; embedded analytics tools; telemetry/observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the frontend architecture direction for the partner experience, including onboarding, menu management, and order tooling.
• Advocate AI-native frontend practices and establish design-to-code workflows and AI-assisted interfaces.
• Define frontend standards with the Front End Core team for micro-frontend landscapes, monorepos, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to evolve the partner-facing frontend systems.
• Shape the in-product BI and reporting architecture within the portal for clear, actionable data insights.
• Provide mentorship and foster a culture of learning and collaboration.
