Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking a Director of Operations Training to lead technical training and continuous improvement across its AMER fleet. You will own mandatory training programs for Facility Operations, including certification and safety modules, and develop a high-performing team to drive standards and governance.

The role requires extensive experience in training and operations, with a focus on HVAC, electrical systems, and data center environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in technical training, critical operations, operational excellence, or related functions.
• 5+ years leading technical teams, including talent development and prioritization.
• 5+ years experience with HVAC and critical electrical systems and BMS/EPMS applications.
• Experience with power distribution systems in a data center or similar critical environment.
• Demonstrated leadership in large-scale continuous improvement and operational excellence programs.
• Ability to influence senior Operations leaders and cross-functional partners across dispersed teams.
• Proven ability to build high performing teams and scalable governance.
• Strong organizational, planning, and change management skills across multiple groups.
• Ability to read/generate technical documents, schematics, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical training strategy and direct development and ongoing effectiveness of training programs across Operations.
• Own governance of the technician qualification program including standards, content, implementation, and effectiveness.
• Establish LMS governance and ensure system supports training, qualification, compliance, and reporting.
• Establish performance measures and reporting across USA sites and drive corrective actions.
• Lead fleet-wide emergency drills and set standards for execution and improvement.
• Translate incident findings into fleet-wide training and improvements.
• Own the site audit program, establish standards, identify trends, and drive best practices.
• Ensure Operations training compliance with regulatory, legal, and company requirements.
