Job summary

New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) is seeking a Procurement Analyst to manage procurement, contracts, and budgeting within the Research and Analytics Division (RAD).

You will coordinate recruitment, respond to FOIL/audit requests, oversee division budget, and guide major initiatives, reporting to the Deputy Commissioner.

Residency requirements apply and the role offers opportunities to influence city policy through data-driven analysis.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of public procurement processes and contract management.
• Experience coordinating procurement, vendor relations, and source of funds.
• Strong analytical and budgetary skills for division operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all procurement needs for the Division with DCWP Admin and Tech teams.
• Coordinate employee recruitment and onboarding for the Division.
• Respond to FOIL requests and audit inquiries for Division data.
• Manage the Division budget, organogram, and administrative actions.
• Project manage key Division initiatives and maintain policy manuals.
• Oversee the Division’s physical space and supervise staff as needed.
