Job summary

MMG is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day construction of convenience stores and gas stations across the Southeast. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards.

This leadership role requires coordinating with project managers, field teams, owners, architects, and vendors, with a focus on process improvement and profitability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and project controls knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction operations across multiple projects.
• Oversee Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams.
• Maintain schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety expectations.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, vendors, and internal teams.
• Develop operational processes and best practices to support growth.
• Monitor costs, manpower, and overall profitability.
• Identify risks and implement pre-emptive mitigation strategies.
• Support business development and preconstruction efforts when needed.
