Job summary

Elwyn seeks a Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership across clinical and operational functions. This role ensures regulatory compliance, budget management, and quality benchmarks while supervising program directors and key staff.

The Director collaborates with families, community partners, and funding sources to maintain a safe, efficient, client-centered environment of care and to drive program development and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation, counseling, or education plus at least 3 years of direct mental health care experience, 5+ years in a leadership role
• Clinical license required
• Experience with recruitment and staffing processes
• Strong decision-making and timely leadership abilities
• Experience in quality improvement, care assessment, and risk management
• Knowledge of behavioral health and crisis intervention techniques
• Ability to develop others through delegation, coaching, and training

Responsibilities

• Provide overall clinical and operational direction for assigned program areas.
• Supervise and provide formal monthly supervision per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quarterly supervision for secondary reports.
• Ensure on-call supervision for crisis intervention and consultation.
• Monitor compliance with policies and regulations across programs.
• Oversee budgets and revenue cycle discussions.
• Lead quality assurance, training programs, and staff development.
• Attend clinical meetings and review incident reports.
• Develop relationships with families, community partners, and funding sources.
