Job summary

Human Active Technology (HAT) is seeking a Director of Operations to lead our Easton, PA manufacturing facility. You will oversee Fabrication, Assembly, Manufacturing Engineering, Warehouse Operations, Facilities and Continuous Improvement to shape operational strategy and support growth.

This high-impact role emphasizes safety, quality and continuous improvement while driving performance and scalable processes across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Proven success leading production, warehouse, engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication or discrete manufacturing environments.
• Strong experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence.
• Data-driven decision making to improve productivity, quality, safety and cost.
• Experience managing KPIs such as OEE, throughput, labor efficiency, inventory, downtime and on‑time delivery.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing, warehouse, engineering and facilities operations.
• Champion safety, accountability, teamwork and operational excellence.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve productivity, quality, customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Establish, monitor and improve KPIs including Safety, Quality, Throughput and OEE.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions to increase capacity.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to optimize processes and layout.
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management and material flow.
• Lead capital improvements, facility expansions and equipment implementations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, labor planning and cost management.
• Recruit, coach and develop leaders and foster a learning culture.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
