Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) seeks a Director, Operations to lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology construction programs across multiple projects. You will oversee PMO operations, contract administration, finance performance, and client relationships, reporting to the VP of Operations.

You'll build and manage high-performing teams, drive safe, on-time project execution, and optimize costs while maintaining quality across sites. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in operational or program management for large-scale power delivery/advanced technology construction
• 7+ years of direct people leadership
• Track record of client account ownership and executive stakeholder engagement
• Experience managing GMP, cost-plus, and lump-sum contract structures
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team-building and talent development skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling/cost-management platforms
• 50% travel or as needs dictate

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO spanning Project Executives, Project Managers, and support staff
• Own PMO oversight: project delivery, escalation protocols, and reporting standards
• Develop and maintain program-level portfolio tracking for schedule, cost, risk, and resources
• Drive project execution strategy including contract structures and change management
• Manage contract administration, amendments, and change orders
• Develop and manage detailed cost models, rate sheets, and escalation for labor/equipment
• Produce financial reporting, billing documentation, and program cost analyses
• Resolve change order events, claims, and scope gaps
• Serve as executive point of contact for key client accounts
• Lead client communications including status reporting and issue resolution
• Partner with clients to structure contractual frameworks for long-term delivery
• Hire and develop staff; onboard and scale the organization
• Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Establish onboarding and staffing processes to support portfolio growth
