Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking an hands-on Operations Manager to oversee warehouse, distribution, and light production operations for an established industrial distribution company. The role requires strong leadership in industrial settings, with experience in handling raw materials and ensuring timely customer delivery.

The ideal candidate will manage warehouse functions, production flow, and logistics while controlling costs and minimizing waste.

Qualifications

• Experience managing warehouse functions including receiving, inventory, and shipping.

Job description

We are working with an established industrial distribution company looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee warehouse, distribution, and light production operations.

We are looking for someone with experience in:

• Managing operations involving raw materials such as steel, aluminum, lumber, plastics, or similar products
• Working in an environment where material is either sold directly to customers or goes through light cutting, processing, or fabrication before delivery
• Managing warehouse operations including receiving, inventory, material handling, production flow, and shipping
• Distribution and delivery to customers, with a strong understanding of customer service and meeting delivery commitments
• Managing costs, waste, and margins. This includes understanding how material is cut or processed, minimizing scrap, using remaining material on future orders when possible, and making good decisions about production priorities
• Leading warehouse, production, or operations employees in a hands-on environment

Candidates should have prior operations leadership experience in an industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or similar business.

This position is fully on-site in Manchester, NH.
