Job summary

SILON US is seeking an Operations Manager to serve as the primary operational link across Sales, Production, Operations, Logistics, and other departments. You will lead the Operations team, coordinate daily priorities, and ensure orders are entered, planned, scheduled, prepared, shipped, and finalized in the order-to-fulfillment process.

Job description

As a valued member of our expanding organization, The Operations Manager will serve as the primary operational link between Sales, Production, Operations, Logistics, and other internal departments to maintain alignment on customer requirements and operational priorities. This role will be responsible for managing the Operations team, coordinating daily departmental priorities, and ensure customer orders are accurately entered, planned, scheduled, prepared, shipped, and administratively completed to successfully lead the complete order-to-fulfillment process.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership and development for the Operations team through performance management, goal setting, disciplinary actions, training, hiring, timekeeping, departmental coverage for absenteeism, enforcement of workplace safety policies and establishing expectations, and accountability.
• Oversee the day-to-day activities and workloads of Warehouse, Planning, Purchasing, Inventory, Customer Administration, and Order Management functions to ensure efficient and timely execution of business operation.
• Monitor production planning and scheduling to align customer orders, forecasts, delivery requirements, production capacity, material availability, and inventory levels; proactively identify and address shortages, scheduling conflicts, and fulfillment risks.
• Monitor purchasing and material planning activities, including material requirements, purchase orders, supplier coordination, delivery schedules, and follow-up on delayed or critical materials to ensure operational needs and customer commitments are met.
• Maintain oversight of inventory and warehouse operations, including raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, packaging and supplies; establish and monitor stock levels, reorder requirements, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, receiving, storage, staging, and shipping activities through the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Ensure inbound and outbound material movements are properly documented and accurately reflected within company systems.
• Coordinate changes to customer orders, priorities, delivery requirements, or production schedules and ensure affected departments receive timely and accurate information.
• Analyze operational data and provide management with regular reporting regarding performance, capacity, inventory, material risks, order status, and other key operational metrics.
• Lead regular cross-functional planning and operations meetings to align customer demand, purchasing requirements, inventory, production schedules, and shipping priorities.
• Ensure assigned operational functions comply with company policies, quality requirements, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field a plus, but not required.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
