Job summary

Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at our Hudson, NY facility. This role is hands-on and focused on warehousing, distribution, material handling, logistics, and process improvement.

You will lead a small operations team, manage budgets and safety, coordinate with ownership on priorities, and drive efficiency, productivity, and quality across the operation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Operations Management, Plant Management, Warehouse Management, Distribution Management, or Industrial Operations Leadership.
• Background in manufacturing, industrial operations, recycling, distribution, material processing, warehousing, or logistics environments.
• Experience managing workflow, inventory, shipping, receiving, and operational processes.
• Working knowledge of budgeting, P&L management, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on management style.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety programs, and compliance requirements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment or operational issues.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement, Lean principles, automation, or operational technology is a plus.
