We are looking for a dynamic leader to drive the day-to-day production and management of a distribution warehouse and yard. The role is responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of distribution-center operations and ensuring materials are delivered correctly and on time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
• Schedule and oversee the warehouse team to meet fulfillment-center demand.
• Manage workflow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
• Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review productivity and develop actionable plans for productivity improvement and loss prevention.
• Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction as a primary goal.
• Maintain warehouse operating standards and procedures covering:
• Product handling and storage
• Inventory management
• Shipping and receiving
• Regularly inspect equipment, tools, and machinery and oversee general maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing safety standards and procedures while complying with applicable legal regulations.
