Job summary

Coury Hospitality, owner of HALL Arts Hotel, is seeking a Director of Operations in Dallas to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure flawless service and brand standards.

You will lead department heads, partner with Sales, Revenue, and HR, drive labor models and cost control, and implement guest satisfaction strategies while fostering a high-energy, inclusive culture across all teams.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of Opera and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.
• Proven leadership and professional image to associates and guests.
• Strong management skills with delegation of tasks and authority.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and apply feedback to improve performance.
• Ability to handle difficult guest situations and respond promptly.
• Flexibility to adapt to change and new procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Clear oral and written communication.
• Ability to foster commitment, team spirit and trust.

Education and Experience

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.


• Working knowledge of Opera, Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.


• Must have a valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.


• The ability to demonstrate leadership and a professional image to associates and guests.


• Strong management skills; ability to appropriately assign/delegate work and authority to others in the accomplishment of goals.


• Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.


• Ability to manage difficult guest situations; respond promptly to guest needs.


• Ability to show flexibility in response to change and adapt to and accommodate new methods and procedures.


• Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated positive customer service skills, and ability to relate to people of varying ages and backgrounds.


• Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether oral or written.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods.


• Ability to use computers, phones, and standard office equipment.


• Ability to respond to operational needs across multiple departments, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.


• Must wear required personal protective equipment per job responsibilities.
