Job summary

HALL Arts Hotel is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to lead the front desk team, oversee guest check-in, room assignments, and billing while maintaining luxury service standards. You will coach Curators and Agents on daily operations and ensure seamless guest experiences in a boutique hotel setting.

The role requires 3–5 years of front office leadership in a luxury environment, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to deliver unmatched

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of front office experience in a hotel or resort.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily front desk operations, guest registration, room assignments, and billing procedures to ensure brand standards.
  • Train team members on operational procedures and luxury service standards.
  • Address escalations calmly and resolve guest concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to prioritize room readiness and VIP arrivals.
  • Lead by example on the floor and maintain a positive lobby environment.

  • Managing: Jumping into the trenches to assist the team, whether that means checking in a heavy arrival wave, handling an escalation, or resolving an unexpected operational wrinkle.
  • Partnering with Housekeeping: Actively communicating with Housekeeping to prioritize room readiness, VIP arrivals, and special guest requests.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of front desk operations, PMS systems, and hotel procedures.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability toliftupto 25 poundsoccasionally.
  • Frequent use of computers and front desk equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
