Job summary

Coury Hospitality's HALL Arts Hotel in Dallas is seeking a Server Assistant to support the service team and help create memorable dining experiences.

You will clear, reset tables, assist with food and beverage delivery, maintain cleanliness, and communicate guest needs to the team. Previous hospitality experience preferred; strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.

• Assist with water service, bread delivery, and food/beverage delivery as needed.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness, organization, and beauty.
• Stock stations and collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Education and Experience

• Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple tables and moving parts simultaneously.


• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays based on business flow.


• Positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn food, wine, and service steps.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and carry heavy trays throughout the shift.


• Ability to lift, carry, or move items like loaded bus tubs, dish racks, ice, and glassware boxes.


• Ability to navigate a busy restaurant floor safely while carrying heavy trays.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.


• Ability to think and communicate clearly in high pressure situations.


• Growing knowledge of the restaurant’s menu, ingredients and cooking techniques. Knowledge of all glassware types.


• Ability to maintain regular attendance and be punctual in a complete uniform for any scheduled shift.


• Knowledgeable of basic sanitation.


• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors.


• Ability to absorb large amounts of information quickly: service procedures, menus, and dining room floor plan, register operation.
