Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Director of Operational Excellence (Finance) to lead the Aerospace Operating System expansion, align leadership, and drive Lean and Agile improvements across the finance function. The role requires coordinating Improvement Events and coaching leaders toward sustained performance gains.

You will drive organizational change, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and partner with executives to deliver strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Lean and Agile management methods, including AOS elements.
• Proven project management experience across strategic and tactical initiatives.
• Leadership skills aligned to Honeywell's People and Leadership Practices.
• Deep competence in organizational change management.
• Excellent communication for executive leadership environments.
• Demonstrated success leading without formal authority and driving results.
• Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop diverse teams.
• Skilled facilitator of Improvement Events and complex problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Drive AOS expansion with roadmap definition and cross-unit coordination.
• Align leadership to ensure adoption of AOS priorities, templates, and methods.
• Coordinate, prioritize, and organize Improvement Events.
• Lead strategic business challenges to deliver performance and improvement targets.
• Foster a continuous improvement mindset with Lean and Agile practices.
• Support and orchestrate the Hoshin Kanri process.
• Coach peers and managers to promote AOS and act as a change agent.
• Build AOS communities across the unit and measure engagement.
