Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis seeks a Director of Operational Excellence - AOS Leader to guide AOS implementation, coach leaders, and embed Lean/Agile methods across Engines & Power. This role requires aligning leadership, coordinating improvement initiatives, and expanding AOS adoption at scale.

You will drive Improvement Events, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and lead the AOS community while ensuring operational excellence and results across the site.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in project management across strategic and tactical initiatives.
• 4+ years of leadership in Lean manufacturing, Lean supply chain, or strategic change projects.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and Agile management methods, including AOS elements.
• Master Practitioner level of competency in Lean tools.
• Hands-on experience in organizing Kaizen events and improvement workshops.
• Strong expertise in Lean manufacturing with a proven track record of implementation and change management.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience guiding direct/indirect reports.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Ability to inspire change and influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the central AOS team to define future path and launch/expand AOS within Honeywell Aerospace.
• Drive AOS adoption within ES including roadmap definition and coordination of activities across the unit.
• Align with leadership teams to ensure adoption of AOS priorities, methods, and templates.
• Coach peers and managers on promotion and usage of AOS; act as a mindset-change champion.
• Advance AOS through recognition of success stories and building a community of practice across the unit.
• Lead organizational initiatives to ensure improvement methodology is applied consistently and effectively across the business.
