Job summary

Eaton Group is seeking a Director of Continuous Improvement to shape how CI supports a growing manufacturing organization. You will act as an expert, advisor and catalyst for plants, building capabilities to scale performance across locations.

Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing Operations for ARS, you will lead Lean Six Sigma, Industry 4.0 and ECIS programs, collaborating with leaders across divisions to drive value and sustainable improvements.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations and/or continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CI methods, approaches and tools, including strategic management and project management.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Quality systems Industry 4.0 and Operational technology

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual CI/Quality and Industry 4.0 plans with the businesses/divisions in partnership with leadership.
• Lead CI/quality and Industry 4.0 manufacturing initiatives to enhance manufacturing operations and achieve operational excellence.
• Collaborate with functional leaders across divisions, regions, and locations through networking and councils.
• Drive core functional excellence through Eaton Business System, Eaton Continuous Improvement System, Six Sigma, EQS, and Industry 4.0 tools.
• OpA process owner for ARS; staff assessment teams and coordinate assessment plans; train plant teams in criteria and self-assessment.
• Lead change to improve organizational effectiveness using ADKAR to implement lean manufacturing and business operations.
• Assist Plant Managers and others in procedures to maximize customer satisfaction, reduce cost, and monitor Balanced Scorecard performance.
• Train others to lead Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) and Lean certification; mentor production leaders on Lean fundamentals.
• Build Organizational Capability by assessing and managing capacity and capability
