Job summary

Eaton's PDRD division seeks a Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence Manager based within 50 miles of one of its listed sites. You will drive the CI strategy across multiple plants, deploying lean systems and a robust problem-solving culture to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years leading Continuous Improvement / Six Sigma programs and related disciplines.
• Business travel required up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement divisional CI strategy aligned with EBS Pull and ECIS; translate priorities into annual and multi-year CI plans.
• Deploy standardized operating system to drive execution, sustainment, and accountability for CI performance across all PDRD sites.
• Lead and standardize Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and strategy deployment to reduce non-value-added work and improve delivery.
• Build and execute roadmaps with Plant Managers to elevate Lean systems and site maturity year over year.
• Own divisional CI results by managing productivity and cost-out pipeline to hit annual targets and five-year plan.
• Coach leaders in A3 problem solving, daily accountability, leader standard work, and Gemba walks.
• Mentor CI leaders to integrate ELSS tools and Kaizen/RIE events within project discipline.
