Job summary

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc. seeks an experienced Director of Open Access to lead the development, growth, and day-to-day operations of its entry-point services.

You will build a welcoming, timely, and coordinated access model for individuals with AMI, SMI, and co-occurring conditions, overseeing a multidisciplinary team and ensuring high-quality care and compliance with CCBHC standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Family and Marriage Therapy.
• Current NH license or license-eligibility as LMFT, LICSW or LCMHC.
• Five years in behavioral health with at least three years in supervisory/leadership roles.
• Community mental health experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with vehicle and adequate insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, operations, and growth of Riverbend’s Open Access services.
• Ensure a welcoming, timely, coordinated entry into behavioral healthcare for diverse needs.
• Provide clinical and staff leadership, fostering a high-performing team.
• Advance CCBHC-aligned services for AMI, SMI, substance use, and co-occurring conditions.
• Drive quality improvement, compliance, and outcomes using data and best practices.
• Oversee budgets, resources, staffing, and operations to optimize access.
• Collaborate with Riverbend programs and community partners to expand access.
