The Director of Business Development (OEM) is responsible for supporting and growing sales and profits for the related market channels, providing marketing input, and promoting product line growth primarily through the creative use of both existing and new products. The role requires an educational background, industry experience, and contact with customers and prospects. The individual must possess a unique blend of business and technical knowledge, a big-picture vision, and the drive to realize that vision. Understanding customer problems, solution attributes, and identifying innovative product and/or service solutions to assist the broader market are essential. The individual will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for assigned products, working with the sales channel and key customers to promote Hubbell and its product solutions. Cross-functional collaboration with other Hubbell groups and business units is necessary to align and execute strategies.

Hubbell Connectors, Grounding, & Tooling focuses on products supporting two businesses (Burndy and Connector Manufacturing Company) across markets like renewable energy, OEM, transportation, data centers, telecom, utility, extreme environments, power generation, and oil & gas.
