Job description

Job type: Permanent

Description

Location: CANADA REMOTE: Toronto preferred though flexible ET

OVERVIEW:

We are hiring on behalf of a European-based cybersecurity and threat intelligence software vendor with a strong global footprint. Their deep packet inspection (DPI)-based technology is embedded into the solutions of some of the world’s leading network and security providers, powering advanced traffic visibility, threat detection, and policy enforcement.

With approximately 1,100 employees worldwide, the company is well established in global markets and now entering an exciting scale-up phase in North America. To support this growth, we are seeking a Director of OEM Partnerships to drive strategic partner engagement across the region.

This role is focused on identifying, onboarding, and nurturing long-term relationships with OEMs, Networking Equipment Providers (NEPs), Systems Integrators, and Solution Providers. While commercial success is a key driver, this is not a traditional transactional sales role. It requires someone who enjoys building deep, strategic alliances and who is comfortable engaging across commercial, technical, and product functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute strategic engagement plans with OEM and embedded solution partners
  • Lead partner onboarding efforts, ensuring alignment across technical, commercial, and product teams
  • Build and maintain strong, executive-level relationships with key accounts and stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, supporting joint go-to-market initiatives and long-term growth
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure partner success and solution integration

KEY OBJECTIVES:

  • Establish and grow strategic OEM and embedded partnerships across North America
  • Achieve/exceed agreed partnership and revenue goals
  • Support the regional expansion of the company’s cybersecurity and DPI-based solutions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners, managing relationships from onboarding through to long-term growth

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • A proven track record in OEM, indirect, or embedded partnership development
  • Experience in cybersecurity, networking, or threat intelligence (either commercial or technical)
  • Strong understanding of embedded technology integration and long partner sales cycles
  • Background in sales, strategic alliances, product management, or technical business development
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable working in a high-growth, scale-up environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both technical and executive-facing

WHO YOU ARE:

You’re commercially sharp, technically fluent, and thrive in environments where you can build and grow something meaningful. You understand the nuances of working with OEMs and systems partners—long sales cycles, deep collaboration, and mutual value creation. Whether your background is sales, product, or alliances, you know how to make partnerships work, and you're ready to take on a strategic role in one of the most important regions for this company’s future.
