Director, OEM Business Development

What You'll Do

  • Establish relationships with automotive consultants, vendors, and OEMs.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing using various sources.
  • Present value-based solutions to OEMs utilizing Solera's product suite and consulting services.
  • Collaborate with solution advisors and sales directors to strategize and close high-value deals.
  • Coordinate with product management on OEM certification projects.
  • Participate in client and partner status calls.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to retain and expand partnerships.
  • Achieve and surpass daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Use Salesforce to document all activities.
  • Understand customer needs, challenges, and expectations.
  • Continuously learn about industry trends, processes, performance indicators, and competitors.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS software.
  • Proven success in business development and lead generation.
  • Track record of closing sales opportunities.
  • Efficient in project management and multitasking.
  • Ability to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with challenger sales techniques.
  • Experience working cross-departmentally to deliver software solutions.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and integrity.
  • Automotive industry experience (CRM, DMS, etc.).
