Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. invites experienced nursing leaders to join as Director of Nursing (DON) in Texas. You will oversee nursing services, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide a skilled team to deliver compassionate resident care.

As DON, you will manage staff recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance, while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans and maintain high standards of clinical excellence across the facility.

Qualifications

• RN license current and in good standing in Texas.
• Proven leadership experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
• Strong clinical skills and restorative care approach.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines across nursing services.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of nursing staff.
• Provide floor coverage to maintain high-quality resident care when needed.
• Review payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain accurate resident records and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Ensure nursing staff have timely access to equipment and supplies.
• Coach and mentor nursing staff to improve performance and outcomes.
