Job summary
Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) in Plano, TX to lead clinical operations and guide nursing staff with compassion and integrity. Qualifications
- Must hold a Texas RN license.
- Experience leading in long-term care or geriatric settings.
- Strong clinical skills with a restorative care approach.
- Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all nursing services in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of nursing staff.
- Support direct patient care on the floor to maintain high-quality care.
- Review payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain resident records and ensure proper documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans.
- Ensure access to equipment and supplies for nursing staff.
- Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff to improve performance and outcomes.
