Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing services and shape care experiences for residents at our Texas facility.

The DON will supervise recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance, stepping in on the floor to ensure consistent, high-quality care while guiding the team with professionalism and clinical excellence. Responsibilities include payroll oversight, accurate recordkeeping, collaborating with physicians on individualized care

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing in Texas.
• Demonstrated leadership in long-term care or geriatrics.
• Strong knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing services in accordance with guidelines.
• Recruit, onboard, schedule, and manage nursing staff performance.
• Provide floor coverage to maintain high-quality care.
• Review payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor resident records for accuracy and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop individualized care plans.
• Ensure access to equipment and supplies for staff.
• Coach and mentor nursing staff to improve outcomes.
