Overview

Cedar Creek of Logansport, a regional healthcare provider and true friend of older adults, seeks a service-minded, career-oriented individual to join our team as a Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee clinical operations ensuring high-quality care in compliance with regulations.
  2. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
  3. Maintain a safe working environment and provide nursing coverage as needed.
  4. Assess residents for appropriate care levels and manage nursing staff.
  5. Supervise medication management and pharmacy relations.
  6. Ensure documentation, compliance, and participation in interdisciplinary meetings.
  7. Hire, train, evaluate, and retain nursing staff.
  8. Manage resident care plans, survey responses, and infection control policies.
  9. Manage inventory and supplies, and support community occupancy efforts.
  10. Communicate effectively with residents’ families and work collaboratively with staff.
  11. Perform physical duties as required, including lifting and assisting residents.
Qualifications
  1. Current LPN or RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing school.
  2. Minimum 3 years of nursing experience preferred.
  3. CPR and BLS certification preferred.
  4. Knowledge of senior care practices, including dementia care, preferred.
  5. Proficiency in EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and internet browsers.
