Midwest Center for Youth and Families (a subsidiary of UHS) has been in operation since 1997, serving youth across the country in need of psychiatric treatment for various mental health issues. The Midwest Center is a respected healthcare provider, fully accredited, a 74-bed private residential treatment facility with locations in Valparaiso and Kouts, IN.

We are dedicated to caring for the hearts and minds of our patients with compassion and providing high-quality behavioral healthcare services through our full-immersion Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program for children and adolescents aged 10-18 who struggle with emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.

Position Summary:

The Director of Nursing is a key member of the Midwest Center Leadership team, responsible for integrating and coordinating patient-centric nursing strategies and ensuring high-quality healthcare. Qualifications

Nursing Director Requirements:

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school is preferred.
• Indiana RN license or eligible is required.
• Minimum of five years experience working in behavioral health required.
• Two years of supervisory experience required.
• Must be 21 years old.
