Must be willing to travel to assignments in CO, IA, KS, MN, ND, NE, and SD.
Provides temporary leadership and support in nursing facilities. Manages the nursing program in a long-term care setting to uphold resident care standards. Facilitates geriatric care process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency. Oversees the quality of care delivered by nursing staff, advises medical staff and administrators on nursing strategies, and ensures compliance with regulations. Requires frequent travel to various facilities. Communicates policies and objectives to staff and community groups. Monitors nursing operations and compliance with standards. Schedules staff, conducts performance reviews, and provides direct nursing care as needed. Also participates in marketing activities including community events, special events, and media outreach.
Has overall responsibility for daily operations of the long-term care facility, including resident care quality, program management, safety, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. Delegates and coordinates clinical, operational, and managerial activities to meet departmental objectives. Manages and directs staff effectively.
Maintains communication across the healthcare system, leading the development and implementation of clinical programs, policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring system integration and adherence. Monitors nursing staff operations for compliance with organizational and governmental standards.
