Oak Grove, part of the Greencroft Communities family, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department with vision, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in resident care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for all clinical services and resident care.

Develop, implement, and monitor nursing objectives, care standards, procedures, and staffing models.

Recruit, hire, and onboard nursing staff, ensuring alignment with Oak Grove’s values and standards.

Coordinate mentorship for new nurses during their first 90 days and provide ongoing support.

Supervise nursing staff and conduct timely performance evaluations.

Collaborate on departmental planning and budgeting to ensure quality care is delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.

Maintain compliance by participating in healthcare inspections, drafting corrective plans, and monitoring follow-up actions.

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana (must be maintained throughout employment).

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent professional experience.

Prior experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) is highly preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
