An established industry player is seeking a Director of Maintenance to oversee the upkeep of multiple sports facilities. This hands-on managerial position requires a blend of technical skills in maintenance and construction, alongside strong leadership to guide housekeeping and maintenance teams. You will ensure all facilities meet high standards of cleanliness and safety while managing budgets and vendor relationships. SPORTIME owns and operates 15 tennis, pickleball, sports, camp and fitness clubs across NYS, including sites across Long Island, in Westchester, Manhattan and the Capital Region. Several of these locations currently feature both dedicated and/or “blended” pickleball courts, and offer court-time, instruction and related programs. SPORTIME is in the active process of creating and scaling its new pickleball division, the purpose of which is to own or lease, and operate, dedicated indoor and outdoor pickleball sites in our current markets and in others nearby.
The Director of Maintenance supervises and directs the work of the maintenance and housekeeping staffs at various sites. This is a hands-on managerial position which requires experience in all phases of maintenance and construction. The Director of Maintenance works within budget guidelines, develops and maintains relationships with vendors, interviews, hires and trains maintenance and housekeeping staff.
COMPENSATION: $75,000 - $80,000 per year
