About Us

Overview

The Maintenance Director at a Brightview community serves as a leader and coach to our team of maintenance technicians and housekeeping associates to ensure a safe, attractive, clean, well-maintained, and vibrant living experience for our current and future residents and guests.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment on the community, ensuring good repair, cleanliness, attractive appearance, and safety. You will build, develop, and manage your team and serve as a role model to foster a culture of safety.

Additional responsibilities include managing all community service contracts, tracking all documents related to preventative maintenance and resident work orders, purchasing equipment and supplies, managing expenses within the community budget, and overseeing bid generation for capital purchases, renovation projects, and service contracts. This is a key role within the Brightview community leadership team and offers the opportunity to positively impact our residents’ ability to live an active vibrant life!

Salary Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.

Compensation Disclosure

The salary range reflects potential pay and does not include bonuses, incentives, or benefits. Offers will consider experience, qualifications, location, community size, certifications, and training. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
  • 2+ years' supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, equipment repair, and painting.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong customer service orientation towards older adults.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
