Job summary

Fidelity is seeking a Director to lead CICS and MVS/zOS performance and capacity across mainframe environments, delivering end-to-end analysis, modeling, tuning recommendations, and strategic guidance for complex multi-tier applications.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with executive communication, driving capacity planning, incident reviews, and optimization across production and non-production workloads in collaboration with DBMS, MQ, WAS, storage, network, and cloud

Qualifications

Lead CICS and MVS/zOS performance and capacity analysis for mainframe environments.
Translate technical findings into business, resiliency, and cost recommendations.
Proven ability to guide engineers and partner teams through incidents and capacity reviews.

Responsibilities

Lead performance and capacity analysis across production, non-production, and events.
Analyze CICS components, region, transactions, and I/O to identify bottlenecks.
Assess MVS/zOS configuration options and dispatching to optimize performance.
Perform end-to-end workload forecasting and KPI projections for capacity planning.
Collaborate with DBMS, MQ, WAS, storage, network, and cloud interfaces to map issues to topology.
Provide executive-ready findings and drive practical recommendations with data.
