Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Director for Mainframe CICS/MVS Performance & Capacity to provide technical leadership across performance engineering, capacity management, and modernization efforts on the IBM z/OS platform.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to balance customer experience, resiliency, and cost while guiding incident investigations and executive communications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IBM z/OS with CICS/MVS experience.
• In-depth knowledge of CICS, region behavior, and workload management.
• Experience with SMF/RMF and related performance tools.
• Ability to forecast capacity and align with business growth.
• Experience leading incident management and production support.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance governance and incident management.
• Develop capacity forecasts and workload models.
• Translate findings into executive-level recommendations.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, architecture, and vendor teams.
• Guide high-severity incident investigations and strategic initiatives.
