Fidelity Investments is seeking a Director of Mainframe CICS/MVS Performance and Capacity. You will lead end-to-end performance analysis, capacity forecasting, and tuning across z/OS environments, driving cross-team collaboration and executive-level recommendations.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic guidance for modernization, resiliency, and cost optimization in Fidelity’s large IBM z Systems footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of technology experience with IBM z/OS, CICS, MVS performance/capacity.
• Experience in large financial services or mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead CICS/MVS performance and capacity analysis across production/non-production environments.
• Translate performance findings into executive-level recommendations and actionable plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to model capacity needs and influence modernization decisions.
• Provide incident management support and governance during major platform events.
