Qualifications

5+ years supporting enterprise IBM mainframe environments (z/OS)
5+ years capacity planning and performance engineering
3+ years analyzing utilization trends and forecasting capacity
3+ years using enterprise mainframe monitoring and performance tools
2+ years Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel reporting

Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and optimize mainframe resource utilization and performance across IBM z/OS environments.
Conduct capacity planning, forecasting, trend analysis, and real-time diagnostics to identify bottlenecks and ensure scalability.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, and systems programming teams to optimize performance and reduce MIPS consumption.
Deliver utilization reports and capacity recommendations to support infrastructure investments and peak-business readiness activities.
Provide technical leadership for testing, production support, incident response, and on-call rotation.
