Job summary

Interdependence is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial Director of M&A to partner with executive leadership in driving growth through acquisitions across B2B PR, marketing, and digital agencies.

The role focuses on identifying opportunities, developing targeted outreach and marketing strategies, and building pipelines with acquisition targets while collaborating with leadership and external advisors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in M&A/acquisitions in B2B.
• Understanding of acquisition sourcing and M&A processes; direct experience supporting acquisitions required.
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging founders, owners, and senior executives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute acquisition marketing strategies to identify potential targets across B2B PR, marketing, and digital agencies.
• Build campaigns to engage agency founders, owners, and executive decision-makers.
• Leverage paid advertising, email, LinkedIn, and content to generate qualified opportunities.
• Develop messaging and positioning that communicates Interdependence's value to prospective partners.
• Research industry trends to identify strategic acquisition opportunities.
• Lead initial conversations and assess interest in partnerships or acquisitions.
