Interdependence is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial Director of M&A to drive growth through acquisitions across B2B PR, marketing, and digital agency sectors. This hands-on role identifies opportunities, crafts outreach and marketing strategies, and builds a pipeline of qualified targets from outreach to potential acquisition.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of M&A/acquisitions experience in B2B.
• Understanding of acquisition sourcing and processes; direct experience in acquisitions.
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building with founders and executives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Entrepreneurial hunter mindset with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute acquisition marketing strategies to identify and attract potential acquisition targets across B2B PR, marketing, and digital agencies.
• Build campaigns to engage agency founders, owners, and executive decision-makers.
• Leverage marketing channels to generate qualified acquisition opportunities.
• Develop messaging that communicates Interdependence's value to acquisition partners.
• Research industry trends and identify strategic opportunities.
• Identify and pursue off-market targets.
• Lead discussions with prospective acquisition targets and assess interest in partnerships or acquisitions.
• Maintain an acquisition pipeline and report to leadership.
• Collaborate with leadership and external advisors on due diligence.
