Job summary

Interdependence is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial Director of M&A to partner closely with executive leadership in driving the firm's growth through strategic acquisitions across the B2B PR, marketing, and digital agency sectors.

This highly proactive, hands-on role focuses on identifying acquisition opportunities, developing targeted outreach and marketing strategies, and building relationships with target acquisitions to move opportunities from initial outreach through acquisition.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in M&A/acquisitions in B2B.
• Proven ability to develop and execute acquisition sourcing and outreach.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and drive.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted marketing and outreach strategies to identify acquisition targets across B2B PR, marketing, and digital agencies.
• Build and manage campaigns to engage agency founders, owners, and executive decision-makers.
• Leverage marketing channels to generate qualified acquisition opportunities and messaging that resonates with targets.
• Research industry trends and identify strategic acquisition opportunities.
• Maintain an acquisition pipeline with KPIs and regular updates to leadership.
