Job summary

Interdependence is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial Director of M&A to partner closely with executive leadership in driving the firm's growth through strategic acquisitions across the B2B PR, marketing, and digital agency sectors.

This is a highly proactive, hands-on role focused on identifying acquisition opportunities, developing targeted outreach and marketing strategies, and building relationships with target acquisitions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in M&A / acquisitions in B2B.
• Understanding of acquisition sourcing, business development, and M&A processes; direct experience supporting acquisitions required.
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills with founders, owners, and executives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with hunter mentality and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute M&A marketing and acquisition strategy across B2B PR and digital agencies.
• Grow and manage a pipeline of acquisition targets; engage founders and senior executives.
• Establish KPIs, measure outreach, and optimize channel strategies.
• Support acquisition discussions, due diligence, and integration planning with leadership.
