Job summary

Montage International in Bluffton, SC is seeking a Director of Housekeeping to lead the day-to-day operations and long-term vision of the department within a luxury hotel environment.

You will oversee inspections, coordinate with other departments to boost guest satisfaction, manage budgets and purchasing, and hire and develop a high-performing team. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and cost-control expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five or more years of housekeeping leadership in luxury hotels.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Opera experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to supervise and discipline staff when necessary.
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee long-term vision and direction for Housekeeping.
• Inspect hotel facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to improve guest satisfaction.
• Manage equipment maintenance and cost controls.
