Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in housekeeping within a luxury hotel.
• Intermediate skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Opera preferred.
• Clear reading/writing in workplace language; strong communication.
• Ability to supervise staff, manage duties, and discipline when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide long-term vision and direction including improvements and projects.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to improve guest satisfaction.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and used properly.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning of the department.
• Hire, train, supervise and develop colleagues for effectiveness.
• Maintain employee relations with contract staff and training integration.
• Establish safe working conditions through appropriate training.
• Build relationships with all levels of hotel staff.
