Qualifications

• Five (5) plus years’ experience in housekeeping within a luxury hotel.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Opera preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must be able to supervise subordinate staff, including assignment of duties, evaluating service, and disciplinary action when necessary.
• Budgetary analysis capabilities required and knowledge of cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop long term vision and direction for housekeeping, including improvements and projects.
• Conduct regular inspections of the hotel to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Coordinate department activities with other departments to facilitate communication and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained and used accordingly.
• Meet all service and production standards for Pendry.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the department.
• Monitor consumption and ordering of guest and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain effective cost control through systems and processes.
• Hire, train, supervise and develop colleagues for maximum effectiveness.
• Provide seamless employee relations with contract employees, ensuring proper training and culture integration.
• Establish safe working conditions through appropriate training.
• Create appropriate relationships with all levels of hotel Associates.
