Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department at Montage Laguna Beach. The role focuses on maintaining exceptional cleanliness and service standards across guest rooms and public areas, while supporting the Director of Housekeeping.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in luxury resort housekeeping, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and housekeeping software.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two plus years' experience in housekeeping within a luxury resort.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Opera preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and service levels.
• Mentor, coach, counsel and train housekeeping staff.
• Build and maintain an exceptional housekeeping team under the Director of Housekeeping.
• Work with Workday software and recruiting systems.
• Conduct regular hotel inspections to meet cleanliness/maintenance standards.
• Hire, train, supervise and develop colleagues for maximum effectiveness.
• Ensure safe working conditions through proper training.
